How was your Easter?

This year, Our City hosted its second Easter on the Coast event, providing a great family day out on Easter Sunday. At 10:30, the event kicked off with an hour-long theatre-style performance from local actors in a production titled “The Witnesses”. From dazzling video effects to spinning lights, it was a production that has received fantastic feedback. Many saying they wished it was more than once a year!

After the production, there was an opportunity to visit our petting zoo for the children and a Easter-themed cafe called Easter Wonderland. Here, Our City gave away fantastic prizes, free face painting and easter eggs. Everyone went away feeling in the Easter mood. It was a brilliant day out for the whole family. Completely free of charge. Roll on Easter 2013.

The Brighton Marathon

We have several members of our team taking part in the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 15th April who are raising money for Our City (Or CityCoast Trust).

IF you would like to come and “cheer them on” or volunteer to help run the Powerade Station at the Shoreham Power Station, feel free to come down and join us. We will be there for the duration of the marathon.

2012 Easter Update

This year has been a busy year for Our City. With the lease being renewed on The Crossover Charity Shop through to the organisation of the biggest Easter production to date.

That’s why we’re so excited to show you it all! We’ve been working hard to make Easter on the Coast 2012 the biggest and best event yet. We have stepped the performance up a gear upstairs. We have a kids event taking place at the same time so that everyone’s entertained, followed by the Easter Wonderland for the whole family: including Petting Zoo, Seasonal Snacks and Cafe (all completely free).

Mark it in your diary, Sunday the 8th April 2012 at 10:30am. It promises to be the biggest event yet.
